About Us

We are students in Georgia Tech's English 1102 class on The History and Rhetoric of Science Writing for Children. This website serves as a collection of illustrations from books on physical science for children. The contributors to this site are:

  • Tarun Naren is a freshman undecided engineering student (currently deciding between Nuclear and Radiological Engineering and Electrical Engineering) at Georgia Tech. His main role was handling the backend work on Omeka and researching Stories of Starland.
  • Ayush Jain is a first year Materials Science and Engineering student at Georgia Tech. He handled researching The Boy's Book of Inventions and the Introductory Essay.
  • Grant Butler is a first year Physics major at Georgia Tech. He researched Conversations on Natural Philosophy and was in charge of maintaining the schedule and keeping people on track.
  • Nick Brittain is a first year Computer Engineering major at Georgia Tech. His main job for the project was researching First Lessons on Natural Philosophy for Children, as well as handling communication and editing/revising site elements.
